Choose the cable by pump duty
DEV CABLE supplies custom power cable for pumps in boreholes, deep wells, reservoirs, irrigation, drainage, sewage and industrial water-transfer systems. This is a configurable cable family, not a single stock construction with one depth or temperature rating.
For oilfield downhole service, use the ESP cable specification. Water-pump and oilfield cables should not be substituted solely because both feed a submerged motor.
Match the fluid and immersion conditions
Clean water, wastewater, oil-contaminated fluid and drinking water require different material and documentation reviews. State the fluid composition, cleaning agents, temperature, maximum depth and whether immersion is continuous or intermittent.
“Waterproof” or “oil-resistant” alone does not establish a permitted depth, chemical compatibility or potable-water approval. Those limits must be confirmed for the cable, joint and pump entry in the actual installation.

If temperature, leakage or other sensor circuits share the cable, review the pump cable with control cores against the manufacturer’s wiring diagram.
Size for the complete installation
Cable length is not the same as pump depth: include the route between the supply or control panel and the wellhead, as well as the drop to the motor. Conductor selection must account for current, voltage drop, starting conditions, temperature and installation method. Pump power alone is not enough to select a size.
Confirm the entry dimensions, submerged joint and cable support with the pump supplier. Do not use the power cable to carry the pump’s weight unless the complete system is specifically designed for that duty. A replacement must match the entry and termination as well as the conductor size.
Standards, testing and documents
State the cable standard, pump specification and country-specific project requirements. A generic cable designation is not proof of certification or drinking-water suitability. Any required approval must cover the ordered construction and intended use.
Every finished cable length undergoes 100% continuity testing before shipment. Specify additional electrical, immersion, material or inspection requirements in the RFQ; continuity testing does not establish those results.

Buyer questions
Is H07RN-F automatically suitable for continuous submersion?
No. Check the specific cable’s documented immersion conditions, fluid compatibility, depth and temperature. A family name alone is not approval for the installation.
Can one cable serve both clean-water and sewage pumps?
Only when its confirmed construction covers both duties. Wastewater may introduce oils, chemicals or cleaning agents that were not part of the clean-water specification.
Can this cable be used in drinking water?
Only after any required potable-water approval is verified for the ordered variant and destination. Water resistance alone is insufficient.
Can the length, core count and sheath be customized?
Yes, these are reviewed with the pump data, entry dimensions, electrical load and medium. The agreed specification defines materials, marking, packing and required documents before production.
